Job Summary

A vacancy has arisen in a well-established and renowned Insolvency Practice in Sheffield for the position of Insolvency Sales Consultant. An incredible career opportunity for either an Insolvency professional, or an ambitious candidate with a background in finance and sales it could be youre working in sales, but are looking for the next step up and to move in to more of a long term career role.

The company are a leading brand within the sector and helps business owners and Directors in financial distress by exploring insolvency & finance options.

This opportunity requires you to take on a role where you will utilise a multitude of skills sales, account management, advisory and customer service. It comes with a superb basic salary, a lucrative bonus, full training and on-going development with a view to you becoming a fully-fledged, qualified Insolvency Consultant. Its a 9-5 role, office based, (S10) with free parking, and also comes with a fantastic benefits package for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate would have a working background in the industry, but it is not essential. Dependant on your experience and knowledge for the role, you will be provided tailored training to get you up to speed. Confident and focussed, you will be tasked with talking to business owners with empathy and clarity, ensuring they take the most positive route from their current position. The role would be ideal for a sales / customer focussed individual, ideally from a financial / insolvency background who would like to switch to a career-defining role.

The Role Has Two Main Aspects

  • Facilitating inbound consultations taking details and fact finding from incoming calls to pass onto the Consultants in the office.
  • Generating own consultations Grow and nurture a network of contacts from finance and accountant firms to generate opportunities to self-generate your own consultations.

The position offers a salary completely negotiable based upon your skills, experience and industry knowledge. A bonus scheme, designed to maximise your earning potential, full comprehensive training and the on-going support from an experienced and helpful co-workers and management.

What is essential is your ability to communicate effectively and work to targets in a team environment.

Duties & responsibilities

Deliver professional consultations to company directors.

Promote the services of the organisation - various financial services including;

  • Corporate insolvency
  • Personal insolvency
  • Financial services

Logging details on a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics 365), arranging call backs, creating a pipeline ultimately creating opportunities and qualifying them into clients.

Self-Generating leads & opportunities.

Qualities & skills

Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Be self-motivated and able to work undistracted.

Computer literate with experience in using Outlook, Excel and Word.

Experience working with CRM systems would be helpful.

Ability to adapt and learn quickly.

Experience

Experience of working in insolvency or similar financial sector is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Successful experience of working within a B2B environment.

Proven track record of achieving targets.
