Graduate Commercial Property Manager

Ardeta Search are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established, Sheffield-based, family-owned property company with a substantial and diverse UK portfolio spanning multiple sectors.

Headquartered in a vibrant, modern, and professional open-plan office in South West Sheffield, the business has built a strong reputation for quality, long-term investment, and hands-on asset management. Recent additions to the team reflect their continued growth and commitment to attracting ambitious, high-calibre individuals who can contribute to both the role and the wider business.

The company provides a collaborative and forward-thinking working environment, where employees are encouraged to develop, take ownership, and build long-term careers.

Their varied portfolio spans:

  • Retail, office, industrial, and leisure assets
  • A significant residential portfolio
  • A mix of high-end and smaller, diverse properties (e.g. Grade A offices, industrial units, creative spaces)

The business is hands-on and entrepreneurial, actively managing, refurbishing, buying, and re-letting its own assets rather than acting as an external agent.

The Role Overview:

This is an In-House entry level graduate commercial property manager position designed to provide full exposure to commercial property management within a close-knit team.

You’ll work directly with experienced surveyors and report into senior leadership gaining experience across the full lifecycle of property management.

This is a practical, varied, and people-facing role — no two days are the same.

What the Role Involves:

This is a highly varied, hands-on role offering exposure across the full spectrum of commercial property management. You’ll be involved in:

  • Property inspections and site visits
  • Building and managing tenant relationships
  • Supporting lease negotiations and renewals
  • Coordinating refurbishments and asset improvements
  • Assisting with the re-letting of vacant units

Broad Exposure Across Key Areas

  • Commercial property management
  • Facilities and compliance
  • Elements of block/residential management
  • Asset management and portfolio growth
  • Acquisitions and disposals

Stakeholder-Focused

  • Collaborating with internal marketing and management teams

Commercially Driven

  • Confident, proactive approach to tenant interaction
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • A commercial mindset, with an element of sales awareness

Candidate Profile:

We are open on background but are ideally looking for someone who is:

  • Degree educated, preferably in Property or Real Estate
  • A recent graduate or early in their property career
  • Ambitious, driven, and focused on long-term progression

We would also consider:

  • Graduates from non-property disciplines looking to move into the sector
  • Candidates with estate agency experience (particularly residential) seeking a transition into commercial property

Key Attributes

  • Proactive, organised, and practical in approach
  • Strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Confident and personable, with the ability to engage effectively with tenants and stakeholders
  • Willing to be out on-site and involved in day-to-day operations
  • Motivated to progress towards RICS qualification
  • Full Drivers' License

Career Development

  • Full support towards RICS APC qualification (typically ~2 years)
  • Clear and structured progression pathway
  • Exposure to a broad range of commercial property disciplines, providing an excellent foundation for a long-term career

Team & Environment

  • Collaborative, close-knit team environment
  • Fast-paced, hands-on, and highly rewarding role
  • Opportunity to take ownership early and develop responsibility within the portfolio over time

Salary & Package

  • £26,000 – £30,000 (DOE)
  • 9:00 – 5:30 working hours
  • 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Full training & professional development support
