Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Steel Erectors Labourer to support a steel installation project in Fargate, Sheffield. The successful candidate will assist steel erectors on site, ensuring materials are handled efficiently and work areas remain safe and organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting steel erectors with installation works
- Manual handling and movement of steel components and materials
- Preparing and maintaining work areas
- Keeping the site clean, safe, and tidy
- Supporting lifting operations (under supervision)
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Carrying out tasks as directed by site supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience as a labourer on construction or steelwork sites (preferred)
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Awareness of health and safety regulations
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
