Grinding Machinist - #2077362

Elevation Recruitment are working on behalf of a Sheffield-based manufacturer to recruit an experienced Grinding Machinist specialising in tooth grinding for industrial knives.

The Role
You’ll be working with both manual and CNC tooth grinding machines, producing precision components to exact specifications. This role requires confidence in running multiple machines and handling parts up to 2 metres in length.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating manual & CNC tooth grinding machinery
• Manufacturing industrial knife components to high tolerances
• Managing and running multiple machines simultaneously
• Working with components up to 2m in length
• Ensuring quality standards and maintaining a clean workspace

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in grinding (tooth grinding desirable)
• Ability to operate both manual and CNC equipment
• Experience working with large components
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

What’s on Offer

• £15.44 per hour, increasing to £16.00 per hour
• Morning & afternoon shift patterns
