Project Manager - #2086181

A leading engineering & manufacturing company is seeking a Project Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of strategic initiatives during a period of sustained investment and operational evolution.

This position offers a high level of autonomy and influence, with regular engagement at executive level and the opportunity to contribute to long-term business direction.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the development and implementation of our portfolio governance and delivery frameworks
• Coordinate multiple project streams, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives
• Identify and mitigate risks, managing cross-project impacts and dependencies
• Monitor performance against key milestones and drive corrective actions where required
• Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and operational best practice
• Support clear definition of project objectives, scope, and success measures
• Engage stakeholders across the organisation, providing clear and structured updates
• Facilitate the transition of completed initiatives into operational teams

• Candidate Profile
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex programmes in a structured environment
• Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence across multiple functions
• Experience managing high-value or technically complex initiatives
• Familiarity with recognised project or programme management approaches
• Understanding of regulated or safety-critical environments
• Working on high value projects within the company
• Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills
• Formation experience within a manufacturing/heavy engineering would be advantageous
• Experience with project planning tools and structured reporting
• Recognised Project qualification
• Recognised H&S qualification
• Experience of working within a manufacturing/heavy engineering sector would be highly advantageous
