People Solutions are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join our well-established client based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Assembly Operative, Factory Operative or Warehouse Operative.

Shifts: Monday to Friday: 07:00am - 15:00pm

Rates of Pay: £12.71 per hour

Your duties as a General Operative will be:

• Working on a production line
• Lifting and handling cardboard products
• Quality checking finished products
• Working on a gluing line
• General warehouse duties
• Opportunity to be trained on various machines

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be General Operative are:

• Previous experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
• Excellent timekeeping
• Ability to work to targets

Desirable Experience:

• Previous warehouse or general operative experience

Training:

• Full industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
