I'm recruiting on behalf of a growing business looking to add 2x Business Development Executives to an established and successful sales team.
This is a genuine 100% new business role, ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, opening doors and building a pipeline rather than managing existing accounts.
You'll be joining a supportive sales environment where you'll receive plenty of coaching and development, but you'll also need to be proactive, resilient and genuinely enjoy the challenge of winning new customers.
The RoleYou'll manage the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities through to closing business, selling a range of services into businesses across the UK.
Average order values are typically around £1,000, creating a fast-paced sales environment with plenty of opportunities to earn commission.
Your day will include:
- Prospecting and generating your own opportunities
- Following up web enquiries and marketing-generated leads
- Managing the full sales process from initial conversation through to close
- Building and maintaining your own pipeline using Salesforce CRM
- Speaking with business owners to understand their challenges and recommend appropriate solutions
- Selling a range of business services
This role is all about attitude and new business ability.
You'll ideally have:
- Around 1+ year of B2B outbound sales experience
- Experience generating your own opportunities rather than relying purely on inbound leads
- Ability to research and generate your own leads
- A genuine passion for new business development
- Strong resilience and confidence speaking with business owners
- Experience using a CRM system such as Salesforce would be advantageous
- £28,000 basic salary
- Realistic OTE of around £40,000
- Uncapped commission structure
- Hybrid working (3 days per week in the Sheffield office)
