Are you a passionate and adaptable SEMH Teacher looking for your next challenge? Academics is delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated SEMH Primary Teacher to work across our Sheffield schools.

Your Role:

  • Plan Inclusive Learning: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with a range of special educational needs. You will adapt the curriculum to ensure accessibility and progress for all.
  • Build Positive Relationships: Become a trusted and consistent presence for students who may find the world challenging. Using a nurturing, child-centred approach, you will help create a classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and ready to learn.
  • Work Collaboratively: Join forces with a talented multi-disciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and specialist staff, to provide a cohesive and holistic approach to each child's development.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher holding QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Someone with a genuine passion for Special Educational Needs and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • A calm, flexible, and creative practitioner who can adapt quickly to changing needs and situations.

Essential Requirements:

  • An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one immediately.
  • Strong professional references to confirm your experience and suitability.
