Bookkeeper / Office Manager

North Sheffield | Temp to Perm | Up to £35,000 | Full-time or Part-time

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper who enjoys having a varied role and getting involved across both finance and the wider running of a business?

We’re working with an established business based in North Sheffield who are looking to appoint a Bookkeeper / Office Manager on a temp to perm basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than just processing numbers. The role will combine day to day bookkeeping with general office management, giving you plenty of variety and the opportunity to become a key part of the business.

What will you be doing?

• Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping function
• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Credit control and dealing with customer/supplier queries
• Supporting with month end processes
• Managing general office administration
• Working with suppliers, customers and other external contacts
• Helping to keep the office running smoothly
• Taking ownership of tasks and supporting the wider business where required

What are they looking for?

You’ll ideally have previous experience in a bookkeeping or finance role, alongside a good understanding of general office administration.

They’re looking for someone who is:

• Confident managing their own workload
• Organised and hands on
• Comfortable working across both finance and administration
• A good communicator who is happy dealing with people at all levels
• Experienced with accounting systems and Excel
• Looking for a long term opportunity where they can really make the role their own
