Your new role
As a Kitchen Fitter, you will play a vital role in delivering planned kitchen installation programmes within social housing properties. You will be responsible for the removal of existing kitchens and the installation of new units, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and with minimal disruption to tenants.Your responsibilities will include:

• Full kitchen installations within occupied and void social housing properties
• Fitting kitchen units, worktops, plinths, and end panels
• Hanging internal doors and carrying out associated joinery works
• Installing skirting boards, architraves, and flooring repairs where required
• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance associated with kitchen refurbishments
• Working closely with other trades to complete projects efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment
• Providing excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes
• Accurately completing job sheets and documentation

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a kitchen fitter or joiner within social housing, property maintenance, or refurbishment environments
• Strong first and second fixed carpentry and joinery skills
• Experience fitting complete kitchens from start to finish
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Experience working within occupied properties and customer-facing environments
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality expertise
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry and Joinery (desirable)
