Pay: £160-£240 per day, depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a High Needs SEN Teacher to work within a specialist school in Sheffield, part of a well-established and highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to work with secondary-aged pupils with high and complex needs, including autism.

As a High Needs SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.

• Supporting pupils with complex and high-level SEND, including autism.

• Creating a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment.

• Building positive relationships and understanding each pupil's individual needs.

• Supporting communication, emotional regulation and behaviour where required.

• Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.

• Supporting pupils' academic, social and personal development.

• Following EHCP outcomes, individual education plans and school policies.

Experience within a specialist SEN school, autism provision, Alternative Provision or a setting supporting pupils with complex needs would be highly desirable.

The role is advertised at £160-£240 per day, depending on experience.

Candidates with substantial experience of working with high-needs or complex SEND may be considered towards the higher end of the scale. The final rate will depend on experience, suitability and the school's available budget.
