We're Hiring: Operations Director

Day rate: £450 to £640 per day paid Umbrella (no CIS or Ltd)
Duration: Initial 6 months - potential view to permanent contract.

We are hiring for an Operations Director for a tier one national contractor on an initial 6 month contract with a view to permanent contract. The Operations Director will be reporting to the Regional Director. This role will provide leadership and management across the Northern part of the Country and will work towards developing and delivering a profitable target revenue. Accountable for P&L business operations, and implementation of the business plan, leading and working closely with the business development, pre-construction teams to profitably grow market share within the region whilst ensuring a safe on time delivery by the operations team. This is paid Umbrella pay, no CIS or Ltd Company.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Director:

• To manage the delivery of projects within the region including managing resources, overseeing a portfolio of operational and pre-construction projects across different clients and frameworks.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns and identify opportunities for business expansion through client satisfaction and referrals.

• Working with the regional SMT to deliver a safe, healthy and inclusive welbeing environment, delivering YOY improved performance across the Region ensuring the highest standards, compliance with process and strongest of safety cultures.

• To lead, manage, motivate and inspire a team of diverse highly motivated employees, providing opportunities and development for all employees.

• Accountable for working with the pre-construction teams to aid the development of work winning strategies and taking this forward into successful execution of pre-construction and mobilisation programmes.

• Represent the business and connect with both public sector and blue-chip private clients, through existing networks of consultant relationships and the skills to build new relationships.

Experience Required for the Site Foreman:

• Proven experience as an Operations Director or Manager
• Gold or Black CSCS Card
• SMSTS
• Basic DBS (must be complete before start)
• Driving licence required

Day rate/salary:

• Day rate
• £450 to £650 per day paid via Umbrella
• Weekly pay on a Friday
