Senior Quantity Surveyor

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a construction consultancy business based in Sheffield, supporting a varied portfolio of projects across Yorkshire and the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established consultancy business, working with a range of clients and delivering commercial support across construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, providing commercial advice, building a new business pipeline and helping clients achieve their project objectives.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:

• Manage all aspects of quantity surveying and cost management across a range of construction projects.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
• Manage procurement activities, tender evaluations and contract administration.
• Monitor project costs, assess variations and manage financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, design teams and other project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Provide commercial advice and support to clients, helping to manage financial risks and maximise value.

To be considered for the role you will need:

• Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a construction consultancy or professional services environment.
• A strong understanding of cost management, procurement and commercial reporting across construction projects.
• Experience administering construction contracts and managing project finances.
• The ability to build strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant qualification is essential, with RICS accreditation or working towards chartership advantageous.
