LYNX Employment Services are recruiting a Counter Sales & Customer Service Assistant for an established Sheffield-based business.

This varied role combines serving customers, handling enquiries and processing orders with occasional deliveries and battery fitting. A mechanical background or an interest in vehicles would be an advantage, but training will be provided in areas you’re unfamiliar with.

## What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming customers and helping with enquiries at the counter.
• Answering telephone calls and providing friendly, professional service.
• Processing orders and keeping computer records accurate.
• Booking and coordinating orders and deliveries.
• Liaising with customers and suppliers.
• Making occasional local deliveries.
• Fitting batteries when required, following training.
• ## What We’re Looking For

A confident, approachable manner and good customer service skills. Clear communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone. Confidence using computers and everyday software, including Microsoft Office. Good organisation and attention to detail. A practical approach and willingness to learn. Ideally, a mechanical background or experience working with vehicles. A full, clean driving licence is preferred for occasional delivery duties.
