Your new role

I am currently recruiting a Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developer to take technical ownership of a highly customised Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse platform. This hands-on role involves stabilising, enhancing, and supporting an existing solution, acting as the lead technical expert while working closely with an internal Project Manager. Responsibilities include managing development, UAT and production environments, troubleshooting complex customisations, improving platform functionality, and ensuring the solution is scalable, reliable, and ready for go-live. Ideal candidates will be experienced in taking over in-flight implementations, navigating complex environments, and delivering successful outcomes through to production.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the Dynamics 365 & Power Platform estate, providing technical leadership across development, support, and continuous improvement.

Partner with business stakeholders to streamline processes, improve data quality, and deliver high-impact digital solutions.

Design, develop, and support Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint solutions.

Build and enhance custom functionality using C#, JavaScript, integrations, and automation workflows.

Manage platform administration, performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and scalability to ensure a robust and reliable environment.

Lead integrations and data management across SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, and third-party systems, ensuring secure and efficient data flows.

Collaborate with external suppliers and delivery partners to ensure solutions meet technical, quality, and support standards.

Mentor colleagues and help grow Power Platform capability within the wider IT team.

Support the full delivery lifecycle, from development and testing through UAT and production release.

Maintain clear technical documentation and champion best practice across solutions and configurations.

Keep pace with new platform capabilities, identifying opportunities to enhance systems and support broader digital transformation initiatives.

Experience needed

Strong expertise across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse, and the Power Platform, combining low-code development with custom technical solutions.

Proven track record of designing, developing, and enhancing scalable Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions aligned to business requirements.

Experience delivering integrations and managing data across SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, and wider enterprise systems, ensuring security, performance, and data integrity.

Skilled in troubleshooting complex technical issues, improving platform performance, and maintaining reliable, supportable solutions.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working closely with business and IT teams to shape requirements and deliver successful outcomes.

Demonstrated ownership of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments, driving continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of new platform capabilities.
