In-house Senior/Lead Previs Artist - #2187133

Lunar Animation is looking for a talented Senior / Lead Previs Artist to join our team in Sheffield.

We’re looking for an experienced artist who can take a project from an initial creative brief through to compelling and well-executed previs. Whether working from storyboards, written direction or early creative ideas, you’ll have the ability to translate concepts into clear, cinematic sequences that help shape the direction of a project.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the creative process, working closely with directors, artists and production to bring ideas to life.

• Strong experience in previs, with a background at Senior or Lead level.
• Proven ability to work from loose briefs, written creative direction or storyboards.
• Excellent cinematic storytelling, shot composition and camera language.
• Strong understanding of pacing, staging, blocking and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently, take creative ownership and help guide a project.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Experience working within animation, VFX or game cinematics.
• Proficiency in relevant 3D software, ideally Maya.

• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Must be able to work on-site at our Sheffield studio.
