Overview of role:

RLB are currently recruiting for a Finance Coordinator to join the team in either the Leeds or Sheffield office, to act as support to the Finance Manager and region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow invoicing and month-end process through the creation of invoices from Microsoft D365 and Finance and Operations system.
  • Ensure all invoices are sent out to clients in a timely manner and uploaded to client portals where required.
  • Assisting contract owners with month end process, ensuring visibility of in-month fees and opportunities.
  • Holding start of the month meetings with Contract Owners to monitor fees and report findings to Finance Manager.
  • Liaising with Contract Owners to ensure milestones are ready for invoicing each month and required information has been provided to be able to send invoices out to clients.
  • Raising and logging credits and any re-issuing of invoices that need to be.
  • Highlight any risk of not achieving monthly invoicing targets to Finance Manager.
  • Reconciliation following month-end process.
  • Support Credit Control in answering any invoices related queries, making amendments and providing copy invoices as and when required.
Person specification:

Experience:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach and will be committed to delivering internal and external customer service excellence.
  • Previous experience of billing or purchase ledger is preferred.
  • Exposure to billing processes and finance systems.
  • Accurate data entry and attention to detail.
  • Relationship management.
  • Excel competent.
  • System confident and ability to learn new systems.
