Job Role: Engineering Assistant Location: Sheffield Shift: Days regular going onto a 3 shift pattern Salary: £13.20ph

Metalis is working in partnership with a prestigious engineering company in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire an Engineering Assistant to join their growing team.

Job Duties:

• Moving materials
• FLT
• Overhead crane
• General maintenance in the workshop
• Some heavy lifting required
• Assisting operators with the cutting and management of customer orders
• Cleaning and marking of parts
• Loading and Unloading parts

Person Specification:

• Experience with FLT or Overhead Crane
• Experience working in steel or engineering environment
• Open to training and development opportunities

Salary & Shift:

• £13.20ph to start on days
• Days for the first 12 weeks, then shift pattern
• 12 weeks temporary to permanent position
