Legal Helpline Advisor - Wills & Probate

Location: Sheffield
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

CRA is specialist legal and finance recruitment agency and we are exclusively recruiting for a Legal Helpline Advisor to join a highly regarded Sheffield law firm during an exciting period of growth within their Wills & Probate team.
This is a rare opportunity for a Law Graduate or early-career legal professional to step into a genuinely client-facing Private Client role without requiring prior legal helpline experience.

The firm are open to motivated individuals who can demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional approach, and a real interest in Wills & Probate.

This position offers immediate exposure to real client work from day one, alongside structured training, ongoing support, and clear, achievable progression within Private Client law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Managing and maintaining Will precedents
• Handling client queries over the telephone in a professional and empathetic manner
• Providing clear and accurate guidance to clients in relation to Wills and related matters
• Supporting the wider team with administrative and operational tasks

Candidate Requirements:

• Law degree or relevant legal qualification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident telephone manner and client-focused approach
• Genuine interest in Wills & Probate / Private Client law
• Previous legal helpline or client-facing experience is beneficial but not essential
• Organised, proactive, and keen to build a long-term legal career
