Recruitment Manager/Business Manager

Technology team – SAP desk

We are investing in the expansion of our Enterprise Technology business, and SAP is the next major area of growth. To lead this, we are seeking a Business Manager or Business Director with deep expertise in the SAP recruitment market.

This isn’t a role for someone looking to “step up.” We need a proven leader with the gravitas, credibility and market knowledge to immediately plug into the SAP ecosystem and shape the strategy from day one.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong SAP recruitment background with a clear understanding of modules, technologies, talent pools, and client landscapes
• 4–5+ years’ experience in SAP or wider enterprise tech recruitment
• Proven experience building client relationships, winning large accounts, and influencing senior stakeholders
• The confidence and capability to serve as a practice lead, shaping the market strategy and driving growth
• Ambition, commercial edge and the desire to create something new within a major organisation

This is the chance to build and grow a practice from scratch, without the risk of doing it alone.

• Full national remit to recruit across the UK & Ireland

What the role involves:

• Build and lead the SAP practice strategy
• Develop a new revenue stream within a high‑performing, Enterprise Technology practice
• Leverage existing Hays client networks to accelerate growth
• Establish a strong SAP community presence through events, partnerships and thought leadership
• Work closely with senior leaders to scale the practice over time
