Site Manager (Clean Water) - #2155383

Our client is seeking a Site Manager to support clean water infrastructure projects across Yorkshire on a contract basis. The role will focus on replacement mains and rehabilitation schemes, with opportunities available across Bradford, Calverley and West Yorkshire. Applicants based within approximately one hour of Sheffield are preferred, although Derby, Lincoln and Hull may also be considered.

• Managing clean water construction sites from mobilisation through to completion
• Overseeing replacement mains and rehabilitation schemes
• Co-ordinating service laying, slip lining, bursting, swage lining, drilling, transfers and relaying works
• Managing pipe testing, inspections and quality assurance activities
• Supervising site teams, subcontractors and daily construction activities
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications
• Maintaining accurate site records, permits, reports and progress updates
• Working closely with project managers, utility providers and other stakeholders

• Experience as a Site Manager within the clean water or civil engineering sector
• Strong knowledge of water infrastructure, mains replacement and rehabilitation schemes
• Understanding of service laying, slip lining, bursting, swage lining, drilling, transfers, relaying and pipe testing
• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• NRSWA accreditation, ideally with relevant supervision qualifications
• NVQ Level 2 in a relevant construction or civil engineering discipline is strongly preferred
• SHEA certification and Blue Hygiene accreditation are desirable
• Strong health and safety awareness, communication skills and site leadership ability
• Gas infrastructure experience may be transferable; telecommunications experience is not relevant to this role
